PORTA hosted a 1A regional on Saturday and had ten advance to sectionals including five individual champions. Williamsville also had a wrestler advance to sectionals which will be at Olympia next weekend. The Bluejay’s individual champions include Zach Bryant, Hunter King, Logan Baker, Mike Minor and Justin Zimmerman.

Other regional feeding into the Olympia Sectional include the 1A Gibson City Regional and Tolono Unity Regional. Olympia’s Dylan Eimer and Bentley Wise won titles while Normal U-High’s Ethan Lowe also won a title.
