Normal U-High scored five runs in the first inning and beat Springfield High 9-4 to earn the CS8 series split on Wednesday. Gavin Schwartz had the big three run triple in the first inning and Matt Sauser got the win for the Pioneers with Grant Marshall finishing the game on the mound.
