Week 38 of the new segment this school year – DP takes time each week to stop by a practice and talk to the team and coach about the season so far and their expectations for the rest of the year. This week he stopped by Rochester’s boys track practice – specifically Coach McGhghy’s shot put practice where something historic is happening that rarely happens in the country, let alone the state. Rochester has five guys throwing the shot put over 50 feet this season and that puts them in rarified air. Hear from Coach and all five about their throws and how much fun it is to compete at practice and meets.
