Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: April 13-18

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Owen Alderman (Athens Baseball) Athens picked up a Sangamo victory over PORTA last week behind a complete game from Alderman. The senior pitched seven innings giving up five hits and just one earned run. He also struck out three in the 5-4 victory. Check out the highlights HERE.

Luke Alexander (North Mac Baseball) North Mac started off the week with a 3-0 victory over Pawnee on Monday. Alexander was on the mound for the Panthers and threw a complete game. He allowed four hits and no runs while striking out 13. Highlights of the win HERE.

Raelyn Brammer (Pleasant Plains Girls Soccer) The Cardinals are 11-0-1 this season and are 5-0 in the Sangamo. Brammer had a big game in a victory over Warrensburg Latham with four goals while also picking up an assits in a tie with Glenwood. Reagan Campbell (Riverton Girls Track & Field) The Hawks hosted the Don Hartlaub Invite on Friday and the Riverton senior won both the 100 meter and the 200 meter at the Invite. Campbell finished the 100 in 12.88 seconds and the 200 in 25.65 seconds.

Cade Cunningham (Normal U-High Baseball) The Pioneers are one of two teams who are unbeaten in the Central State Eight. In a six inning, 11-0 victory over Rochester last week it was Cunningham on the mound helping lead U-High to the win. The senior threw six innings allowing just one hit and no runs while striking out 11. See the highlights of the win HERE.

Dylan Durocher (Rochester Boys Track & Field) The Rockets competed at the Capital City Classic on Saturday at Memorial Stadium and picked up the team victory. Durocher earned two individual victories at the meet. He won shot put at 51 feet, 3 inches and won discus at 171 feet, 11 inches which is a new school record.

Kendall Edmonson (Rochester Softball) The Rockets picked up three wins last week as Edmonson had a productive week at the plate. The sophomore went 3-4 with three RBIs in a 7-4 win over Olympia on Thursday. Those three hits included two home runs. In wins over Highland and Eisenhower she collected a combined four hits which included another home run. Highlights of the win over Olympia HERE.

Kennadie Finchum (Olympia Softball) The Spartans are 2-0 in the Sangamo following a win over Williamsville on Tuesday. Finchum went 2-3 with an RBI and a walk in the 4-2 victory. She also collected two hits and an RBI in a loss to Rochester on Thursday. Highlights from Williamsville HERE and Rochester HERE.

Gradyn Hartlaub (Riverton Boys Track & Field) At the Don Hartlaub Invite on Friday it was Don’s grandson who picked up two victories. Gradyn won both hurdle races with the win in the 110 hurdles coming in 16.70 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 41.54 seconds.

Kamryn Hoffman (Springfield High Girls Soccer) The Springfield High Senators are 11-1 this season following three wins last week. Hoffman had a big week with eight goals and five assists as she scored hat tricks against Southeast and Williamsville. Highlights of the win in Williamsville HERE.

Xander Scray (Normal U-High Boys Track & Field) Another multi-event winner from the Capital City Classic on Saturday. The junior won high jump at 6 feet, 2 inches and won triple jump at 43 feet, 4 inches.

Peyton Zeidler (Rochester Girls Track & Field) Another winner from the Don Hartlaub Invite in Riverton on Friday. Zeidler won both the triple jump at 11.11 meters and the long jump and 5.41 meters as she secured the school record in long jump.

Kinsley Zellers (Glenwood Girls Soccer) The Titans are 6-2-3 this season and are 3-0-1 in the Central State Eight. In a 1-0 win over Rochester last week it was Zellers who had the lone goal just 19 minutes in. Check out the highlights HERE.

Maggie Zimmerman (PORTA Girls Track & Field) The PORTA Bluejays have a new record holder as Zimmerman broke the school record in the 1600 meter at the PORTA Invite on Thursday. Zimmerman ran a 4:59.1 to break the record which was set in 2015. She also won the 3200 at the Invite in 12:16.
