In a non conference matchup in Chatham on Wednesday afternoon, the Glenwood Titans beat Springfield High 4-1 as the bats got going early. Glenwood improved to 2-1 on the season, scoring one run in the first, two in the second and one more in the third for an early lead for starting pitcher Landon Leach who got the win as Grady Mueller got the save, throwing the seventh inning. Glenwood is at Triad on Friday, the Senators (3-2) are at Champaign on Saturday.
