In a rivalry game between Glenwood and Sacred Heart Griffin, both teams scored goals on free kicks just 44 seconds apart and had to settle for a 1-1 draw in Central State Eight conference action on Tuesday. Samantha Perryman scored the Cyclones free kick with 11:41 to play, Mia Calderon scored the Titans free kick with 10:57 to play. SHG’s Reagan Hemmer and Glenwood’s Zoey Kyes both made multiple great saves in goal. SHG hosts Pleasant Plains on Wednesday, Glenwood travels to Peoria Notre Dame on Saturday.
