Week 29 of the new segment this school year – DP takes time each week to stop by a practice and talk to the team and coach about the season so far and their expectations for the rest of the year. This week is at Comstock Field to check in on the Sacred Heart Griffin Cyclones baseball team as they prepare to open the season as the defending 2A state champions. Even though the Cyclones will be in the 3A postseason this year, they have their sights set on winning the Central State Eight conference and making a run at back to back titles led by seven returning starters and a ton of talent on offense and defense.
