East St Louis beat MacArthur 51-49 to claim the 3A Springfield super sectional and earn a trip to state on Friday. The Generals got a shot from 30 feet away that went off the backboard and off the rim and fell away in a game that came down the wire. The Flyers will play Leo in the 3A semifinals on Friday at the State Farm Center in Champaign. The Generals end their season at 34-2. This was the Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois Game of the Week.
