Pleasant Plains went on one of their patented runs in the second quarter to pull away from Tri-Valley on their way to a 54-37 win in the 2A Plains super sectional on Monday night punch their ticket to state. Anna Weber and Bailey Leach scored 18 each for the Cardinals, who will play Breese Central on Thursday at 2:30 pm in the 2A state semifinal at CEFCU Arena in Normal, Illinois.
