Pleasant Plains jumped out to a 14-0 lead to start the game and never looked back, beating Father McGivney 57-23 to claim the 2A North Mac sectional championship and move their record to 29-2 on the season.
The Cardinals will play the winner of the Macomb sectional on Monday at 6 pm at Pleasant Plains for a trip to state on Thursday.
