Week 27 of the new segment this school year – DP takes time each week to stop by a practice and talk to the team and coach about the season so far and their expectations for the rest of the year. This week is up at University High School in Normal, Illinois with the Pioneers boys basketball team. Coach McDowell and the Pioneers finished second in the Central State Eight and enjoyed a 15 game winning streak through January and February. The Pioneers play Danville in the Bloomington regional semifinal on Wednesday night.
