The MacArthur Generals built a first half lead and kept it steady in the second half to defeat Taylorville 71-51 for the 3A MacArthur Regional title. Senior Lexi Meyer led all scorers with 23 points for MacArthur in the win. Baileigh Jackson had 14 for the Tornadoes. MacArthur is headed back to Sectionals for a second straight year and this time they will play Champaign Central at 7:30 on Tuesday at Normal West.
