Athens defeated Pawnee 57-37 at the Sangamo Shootout on Friday night. The Warriors trailed by nine points early but rallied in the late second and early third to take the lead. James Jones took home player of the game for Athens with a 14 point performance. Athens resumes Sangamo play against Riverton on Tuesday with Pawnee plays Nokomis.
