Civic Memorial went up 31-23 to start the second half against Pleasant Plains. The Cardinals clamped down on defense and went on a 20-0 run to ultimately win 52-42 and improve to 22-1 on the season. Madison Burke led the Cardinals with 19 points. Plains travels Maroa-Forsyth in Sangamo action on Thursday.
