Springfield High and SHG met to close night three of the 2026 City Tournament, with the winning squad heading into Saturday with a 2-0 record. The Senators led most of the way and took a 72-56 victory. Noah Wade led all scorers with 19 points while Terrion Wallace scored 17 for SHG. The Cyclones play Southeast at 4:45 Saturday while the Senators play Lanphier at 8:30. A win for Springfield would wrap up the outright City title.
