Sacred Heart Griffin won the first matchup at the State Farm Holiday Classic. Peoria won the second matchup at the MLK Jr Shootout at Lanphier High School on Monday evening. The Lions rallied to beat the Cyclones 63-58 led by 17 points from Kayden Turner and 16 & 9 from Fenix Foy.
SHG opens up the City Tournament on Thursday at 6 pm against Lanphier, while the Lions take on Peoria Manual on Tuesday.
