Springfield High faced a deficit of 26 points in the middle of the second quarter. Early in the third, it was still 22 but the Senators rallied. They closed within two points with a minute to go before the Rams made their free throws to ice the game and win 69-65. Each team put four scorers in double figures with Joshua Humbles leading the game at 19 for Manual. The Senators now gear up for the City Tournament where they’ll face Southeast on Thursday night.
