Vashon trailed MacArthur 11-2 after just two minutes of their matchup at the Southern Illinois Classic Series at Althoff Catholic. The Wolverines closed to take the lead in the second quarter and they never trailed the rest of the way. Jimmy McKinney III and Leon Powell each scored 15 points for Vashon. Tishawn Clemmons scored 26 for the Generals. MacArthur is now 16-1 and plays Chicago Hope Academy on MLK Day at Lanphier at 1pm.
