Ed Horton made a free throw with 20 seconds left in the game to put Springfield High ahead as the Senators picked up a 60-59 Central State Eight victory over the Sacred Heart Griffin Cyclones on Friday night. Elijah Wade led the way for Springfield with a game high 24 points while Noah Wade added 13. Three Cyclones finished in double figures with Terrion Wallace leading the way with 18. Springfield High takes on Peoria Manual at the MLK Shootout at Lanphier on Monday while SHG gets City Tournament action started on Thursday against Lanphier.
