Pawnee had the lead at halftime and hung around through three quarters, but the top seeded Calvary Saints advanced into the Sangamon County basketball tournament semifinals on Wednesday. Calvary beat Pawnee 52-43 despite just one field goal from Luke Blackford through three quarters. Blackford went 8 for 8 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter and finished with a game high 16 points. Calvary plays Riverton on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the first semifinal.
