Normal U-High’s Owen Kirby caught fire in the third quarter. Tied 17-17 in the Foot and Ankle Center of Illinois Game of the Week, Kirby went on a personal 9-0 run to give the Pioneers a lead, finishing the quarter with 15 points, all on three pointers. That broke open the U-High lead as they won 54-25, improving to 4-2 in conference. Both teams travel to Decatur on Tuesday with the Crimsons playing MacArthur and U-High taking on Eisenhower.
