After a defensive battle in the first half, the Lanphier and Rochester offenses came alive in the second half. In the middle of the third quarter Lanphier extended their lead from two to fourteen points in a three minute span and that was enough to lead them to a CS8 victory. Soriano Hayes led the Lions with 17 and Demond Porter Jr. was right behind with 16. Khordell Gregory was Rochester’s leading scorer with 15. Both teams play Monday with Lanphier heading to East Peoria and Rochester taking on Springfield High.
