Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: November 10-15

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Cam Brinkman (Sacred Heart Griffin Football) The Cyclones season came to an end this weekend in a 4A quarterfinal against Rochester but Brinkman had another great performance. The junior threw for 265 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 68 yards and a score. Highlights of the all CS8 quarterfinal HERE.

Ava Crabtree (Normal U-High Volleyball) The Pioneers punched their ticket to state last Monday with a 2-0 super sectional victory against Breese Mater Dei. Crabtree helped lead U-High to that victory with 12 digs, 11 kills and three aces. See the highlights from that win HERE.

Celia Cross (Hartsburg Emden Volleyball) Hartem made their third straight super sectional appearance last week. In a 2-1 loss to Tremont Cross left it all on the floor in her final high school game. The senior had 20 assists, three digs, two aces and two kills. Check out the highlights HERE.

Khordell Gregory (Rochester Football) Rochester will host a 4A semifinal this weekend following a 41-35 overtime win over Sacred Heart Griffin on Saturday. Gregory, in his second game back from injury, rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He also had 25 receiving yards. Highlights of the quarterfinal victory HERE.

Morgan Petelin (Normal U-High Volleyball) The Normal U-High Pioneers are state champs! U-High won the 3A state title on Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Nazareth Academy. In the title game it was Petelin who helped lead the way with 15 assists and 14 digs. She also added 14 assists in the semifinal win over Prairie Ridge. Highlights of the championship victory HERE.

Katie Riedle (Rochester Volleyball) The Rockets fell to Columbia in a 2A super sectional last Monday. Riedle has a great performance for Rochester despite the loss. She tallied 10 digs, four aces, two kills and a block. See highlights HERE.

Jackson Sanders (Williamsville Football) Williamsville’s season came to a close on Saturday at 11-1 in a loss to Tolono Unity. Despite the loss Sanders threw for 295 yards with no interceptions. He also rushed for 18 yards. Highlights HERE.

Ryne Sheppard (Maroa Forsyth Football) The Trojans are back in a state semifinal following a 48-12 win over Flora on Saturday. In that victory Sheppard threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 42 yards and took in a two point conversion. Maroa travels to ALAH this weekend with a trip back to Hancock Stadium on the line. Check out the quarterfinal highlights HERE.
