The Normal U-High Pioneers defeated the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones in two sets on Tuesday. The win keeps the Pioneers atop the Central State Eight standings at 9-0, a half game ahead of Glenwood. The Pioneers play in Chatham next week with a chance to clinch the CS8 title. The Pioneers play Williamsville and Tri-Valley later in the week while the Cyclones play at Riverton tomorrow.
