Late in the third quarter, Springfield High led 21-17 over Jacksonville. However, the Senators were pinned at their own three yard line after a Joe Reif punt. Springfield responded with a six plus minute drive that culminated in a Brody Scheffler rushing touchdown. The Senators then ran out the clock to earn their fifth win and playoff eligibility. Jacksonville falls to 3-3 and will play at QND next week. Springfield High takes on 5-1 SHG.
