Springfield High scored three times in the first half and added two more for a 5-1 win over Rochester at Lee Field on Thursday night. Mayango Jallah scored the first goal, Angie Bilyeu scored the second and Max Pagliara made it 3-0 before halftime. Parker Hinds scored both Springfield goals in the second half and Grant Kutscher broke up the shutout for the Rockets. Springfield hosts Glenwood next Thursday night in likely the Central State Eight conference championship.
