Defense: 7 full-time starters. (Isaac Brown, Matthew Harlan, Elias Hurley, Lincoln Kirk (injured week 2), Channing Ward, James Jones, Gage Honn) Logan Schou, who made a couple of spot starts, is also returning.

Who are the newcomers we should know about and why? It’s tough to name newcomers because we were young at so many positions last year. I think we will have several newcomers surprise this year.
The Head Coach says: We are very excited about our Tight End/Wide Receiver room. We have a number of players in that group who can block and catch the football. The offensive line is further along than expected. We still have some competition that will sort it out, but we have 7 that can play on the offensive line. The QB competition is still sorting itself out. We are hopeful to name a starter by the end of the first week of practice.
