The Patriots 17u defeated the Bloomington Tigers 10-4 to win a pool play game on Friday at the 8th Annual Midwest College Showcase. The Tigers took a 1-0 advantage early but the Patriots scored 10 of the next 11 runs. Preston Cowan broke the game open with a bases clearing triple in the sixth. The Patriots play against the Braves 17u and Force 17u tomorrow while the Tigers face the Patriots 18u and Braves 18u.
