The Auburn Trojans are heading back to State! Auburn won the 2A Millikin Super Sectional on Monday with a 2-0 victory over Tolono Unity. Meena Taylor threw a near perfect game for the Trojans with seven innings pitched, one hit allowed, no walks allowed and 12 strikeouts. The lone Tolono Unity hit came with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Addison Jones drove in both Auburn runs in the top of the first on a double. The Trojans will take on Beecher on Friday at 5:30pm in a state semifinal at the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria.
