Glenwood’s Tyler Gurski and Cam Appenzeller turned in big performances for the Titans against Jacksonville in the 3A Jacksonville Regional Final on Saturday. Gurski had an early RBI single for the first run and added two insurance runs with a homer in the sixth. Appenzeller threw a complete game, giving up two hits and striking out 14. Cy Kershaw pitched all six innings for Jacksonville and Brandon Sims had a sixth inning double for the Crimsons. The Titans advance to the Lincoln Sectional and will play Mahomet-Seymour on Wednesday at 4:30.
