In the Selvaggio Steel Game of the Week, the Pleasant Plains Cardinals got a goal from Bailey Leach with 21:25 left in the game and held on. Plains beats Glenwood 1-0 to claim the 2A Jerseyville regional championship. Emma Sabatka preserved the shutout in goal for the Cardinals. Plains will play at home against Champaign Central on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
