Trager Shultz hit a two run triple in the first inning and Drew Green brought him home with a single to give the Cardinals a 3-0 lead after the first inning. Pleasant Plains beat Athens 5-1 to advance to the 2A Riverton regional championship on Saturday, the Cardinals will play Pittsfield at 10 am.
