Pleasant Plains got timely hits in the second-third and fourth innings for three runs and Sean Lowder threw six shutout innings to give the Cardinals a 3-0 Sangamo win over New Berlin on Tuesday afternoon. Zach Ponce had two hits and a RBI, Drew Green and Andrew Potthoff had the other RBIs. Landon Maisenbacher and Grady Grisham pitched the seventh inning. Plains is at Mt Zion on Wednesday, New Berlin is at Pittsfield.
