Entering the fifth inning at Rochester on Thursday, Sacred Heart-Griffin trailed 3-2. They scored four runs in the inning, capped by Austin Rutter’s two-run homer. Will Coady threw a complete game for the Cyclones in the 7-3 victory. Ajay Runkel had a two-run homer for the Rockets in the third inning. SHG plays Lanphier next week and the Rockets host Routt Catholic tomorrow.
