Pleasant Plains Improves to 10-0 With Dramatic, Come From Behind Win Over Springfield High


 

Pleasant Plains was down to their last strike in the seventh inning before drawing three walks and then getting a three run triple off the bat of Charlie Severino on a 2-2 count to put them up by two entering the bottom of the seventh. The Senators scored a run on a Jacob Jenkins triple and had the tying run at third before Cooper Schallenberg got a strikeout to end it. Pleasant Plains beats Springfield High 7-6 to improve to 10-0 this season. Springfield (3-7) will host Auburn on Saturday while Plains hosts Illini West (10 am) and Bishop McNamara (2 pm).
