A weather delay didn’t bother Maroa Forsyth and Athens on Thursday evening. The Trojans and Warriors entered the ninth inning tied at six before Maroa Forsyth’s Taylor Crouch hit a go-ahead three-run home run. Athens would score a couple in the bottom of the ninth but the Trojans hold on for the 9-8 Sangamo victory. The Warriors are back in action on Friday at Mt Zion while the Trojans host St Teresa on Monday.
