The Pleasant Plains Cardinals got out to a 6-0 lead before Quincy Notre Dame came back take the lead. Zach Ponce doubled in the bottom of seventh to tie the game at 8 before a Drew Green sac fly in the eighth inning won the game 9-8 for the Cardinals. Cooper Schallenberg led the way with four RBIs in the game off a grand slam in the second while Green added three RBIs.
