The Pleasant Plains Cardinals got out to a 13-0 start and shoutout Carlinville in the first quarter of a 2A Waverly Sectional Semifinal on Tuesday night. The Cardinals would go on to pick up the 52-37 victory to advance to the sectional final against Camp Point Central on Thursday at 6:30pm.
