Pleasant Plains’ defense held SHG to just four points in teh first quarter and two points in the third quarter. The Cardinals beat the Cyclones 38-26 for the 2A Williamsville regional championship on Thursday evening. Pleasant Plains will play Carlinville at the 2A Waverly sectional on Tuesday night.
