We’re switching to girls basketball this week for the Selvaggio Steel Game of the Week. The 24th edition of this school year takes us to Pleasant Plains for the Sangamo conference championship game between the PORTA Bluejays and the Plains Cardinals. The game is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025. We spoke with PORTA head coach Derek Schnapp and senior Carson Arthalony and Plains juniors Anna Weber and Bailey Leach about the game. JV time is set for 6 pm, with 7:15 pm estimated varsity time.
