The top seeds held in the 99th Sangamon County Boys Basketball Tournament at Lincoln Land this week and on Friday night, undefeated Williamsville will take on the defending County champion Auburn Trojans in a battle of two teams with a combined record of 34-1. The game is set to tip at 8 pm inside Cass Gymnasium following the consolation championship between Athens and Calvary which tips at 5 pm and then Riverton at 16-2 will take on Pleasant Plains at 10-8 in the third place scheduled for 6:30 pm. All three games can be heard on Sportsradio 1450 AM and 92.3 FM. Friend of County Dave Bates will be honored before the championship game. This is the Selvaggio Steel Game of the Week.
