Plainfield North jumped out to a 13-0 lead over Springfield in round one of the State Farm Holiday Classic at Bloomington High School. The Senators never overcame the deficit, falling 63-44. Abigail Malit led Springfield with 12 points, while Sydney Scott had a game high 17 for the Tigers.
