Pleasant Plains took an eight point lead with just over 5 minutes left but the Spartans never quit on their home floor. Navehua Collier led the charge and Zaria Weston got a big defensive stop and hit a three with just over ten seconds left to power Southeast to a 40-37 win over the Cardinals. The Spartans are 8-0 to start the season and head to play Peoria on Tuesday. Plains falls to 5-3 and travels to Quincy Notre Dame on Tuesday.
