Despite 21 points from Luke Blackford and 12 from Joshua Long, the Pleasant Plains Cardinals picked up a home win over Calvary 59-48 on Tuesday, led by 18 points from Sean Lowder all via the three-pointer. Cooper Schallenberg added 13 and Trager Shultz threw in 10 for the Cardinals who improve to 2-0 this season. Calvary drops to 1-1 and will play Williamsville in the opening game of the Capital City Showcase on Saturday at the BOS Center at 9 am in the Selvaggio Steel Game of the Week.
