Benton beat New Berlin 48-7 on Saturday in Round 1 of the IHSA 3A playoffs. The Pretzels scored on their opening drive but were unable to slow down the Rangers’ dynamic offensive attack. The Rangers led 21-7 at halftime and got the running clock started in the fourth quarter. The Rangers will host Sullivan in Round Two.
