Springfield High defeated Jacksonville 4-3 in the 2A Jacksonville Regional Final on Saturday night. The Senators were trailing by three with 20 minutes left but scored four times in the next twelve minutes to take the lead and go on to win. Gavin Oyler provided the first two Senator goals while Evan Carrell scored the tying and go ahead goals. Springfield heads to the Warrensburg-Latham Sectional where they’ll play Champaign Centennial on Tuesday at 4:30.
