Springfield High defeated Jacksonville 3-0 in Central State Eight Soccer on Thursday. Goals from Gavin Oyler, Evan Carrell and Augie Bilyeu paved the way for the Senator win. Jeffrey Sturm picked up the shutout in goal for Springfield. Jacksonville plays Athens next Wednesday, while Springfield plays Normal U-High on Tuesday.
