Preseason rankings gave the Central State Eight volleyball opener some extra juice. The #2 ranked team in Class 3A, the Normal U-High Pioneers hosted the #4 ranked team in Class 3A, the Glenwood Titans on Tuesday evening. The Pioneers rallied to beat the Titans 17-25, 25-15, 25-21 led by seniors Levyn Snow and Amanda Freehill. Alexis Neumann led the way for the Titans, who host Quincy on Thursday. Normal U-High travels to Plainfield North this weekend.
