Head Coach says:
We will have a blend of an experienced core group paired with some promising newcomers. We will have four returning starters. Riley Holliday, four year setter and team captain running the offense. Her experience and volleyball IQ helps to set the tone on the floor. Britini Walters, outside hitter and three year starter has led the team in kills and digs over the last two seasons. Britni’s sister, Brianna Walters will move to libero this season, previously being on the OH. She had a great summer both defensively and offensively this summer. Ayla Howard, will transition to the middle this season, after playing on the RS last season. Riley’s younger sister, Hannah Holliday, freshman, will be a 6 rotation player on the OH. She has a heavy arm and has been strong for us both offensively and defensively this summer. It will be exciting to see what other players emerge throughout the season, as we have a hard working group with high expectations for themselves. We’re looking to build on last year’s experiences and overall success, while moving past our early postseason exit against PORTA and perform at a high level throughout the season both in the tough Sangamo and our non-conference schedule.
