Ryan Held finished 6th in the 50m freestyle on night seven of the US Swim Trials, missing the Olympics in that event. However, his 5th place finish in the 100m freestyle could still get him a spot on the 4×100 relay. Megan van Berkom competed as well in the women’s 200m individual medley, timing in with a 2:14.46, seven tenths faster than the prelims. van Berkom finished 13th in the event. Thanks one more time to Springfield Clinic for their support of our coverage of the Swim Trials this week.
